Out There 2009 offered a wide range of 'have a go' activities and workshops to drop in and try. All were located in St George's Park.
Spray Art
with Kevin Parker
Learn to cut and paint multi layered street art stencils. Work from a library of pre designed stencils or draw and make your own. Spray paint it onto our mobile wall or onto card to take away with you.

VJing
with Trigger Set
Ever wanted to create your own music video and perform it live? Then come and learn how to VJ. It's like DJing, but with video. Work with Trigger Set and discover how to edit and mix live moving images to music.

DJing
with DJ Damien
If you're into music and you want to have a go at being a top DJ, then let DJ Damien pass his skills on to you at our drop in DJ school. Have a go at beat mixing, learn the best scratching tips and tricks, and line up some of the coolest tunes.

Street Dance and Skate
with ISH
Internationally reknowned Dutch performers ISH combine street skating, flatland BMX, video, beatbox, scratch, hiphop, rap and all other kinds of urban street culture into a spectacular kind of theatre. If you would like to have a go at creating your own ISH style and experience an energetic and diverse workshop with professional artists, then come and master basic skills in break dance, street dance, pop 'n lock, house dance, acrobatics and fun sport, including inline skating (please bring skates with you).

The bigVbus
Climb aboard the big bus for an adventure! The aim of the bigVbus driven by V Inspired is to encourage young people aged 16-25 to find out how they can share their time and talents with their community. Once on board young people can create film and video content, broadcast films/video footage, learn about film editing, and access the internet using state of the art media equipment. The bus will also be used as a platform to showcase other work SeaChange Arts has been doing this year and promote volunteering opportunities.

Puppet Making
with Rafiki
Have you ever wondered how a Muppet style puppet works? Well here's your chance. Locally based Rafiki's Crew Puppeteers are offering you the chance to learn some basic puppet skills and then perform a song with some of our team in the puppet stage.
Ten of the team have just returned from a very successful trip to Kenya where they trained a team of Teenage Kenyans in the art of puppeteering.

Circus Skills
with Circus Sensible
Try your hand at a range of circus tricks and skills including Poi, Diablo, juggling, stilt walking, devil stick, plate spinning, balancing and more.

Daemons or Doppelgangers...or Cows
Now in it's 8th year, and with a contemporary "terracotta army" of about thirty thousand figures, faces and fantastic images made to date at a variety of festivals throughout the U.K. and Europe, the clay-based workshops continue to astonish and delight wherever they go. Express yourself through clay. Make what you fancy or be inspired by our gorgeous Out There life models - two calves courtesy of Easton College.

Out There Musical Installations
In a musical corner of the park is a collection of bizarre sound installations to have a go on. As well as the wonderful Tone Float and Chaos 2 drop in on tutor Jo Baker to draw a tune from a stunning giant instrument made of Recycled Materials courtesy of Norfolk County Music Service.

Drum Making

Air Track
The Air Track is an inflatable tumble track that allows gymnasts to perform skills in a safe environment. Like a bouncy castle for gymnasts, you'll get the chance to practice your tumbling and maybe even learn a few new moves. Oriel County High School are bringing along eight of their gymnasts to demonstrate their abilities and inspire you to have a go.
